Mardy Fish to play at Queen’s Club

LONDON (AP) — Organizers say Mardy Fish is set to play at the Queen’s Club tournament next month as a grass-court warmup for Wimbledon and the London Olympics.

The No. 9-ranked Fish pulled out of the U.S. Davis Cup team’s quarterfinal against France in April due to a health scare. He is the highest-ranked U.S. player.

Britain’s Andy Murray is set to defend the Queen’s Club title a week before playing at Wimbledon. The Olympic tennis tournament will also be held at the All England Club.

Murray will not have to face second-ranked Rafael Nadal at Queen’s this year after the Spaniard pulled out of the tournament, citing stringent British tax laws that could cause the player to lose money by playing the weeklong tournament.
