Man accused of multiple Portland bank vandalisms

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police arrested a man Thursday they say is responsible for multiple vandalisms at banks and ATMs.

The 25-year-old is facing 72 counts of criminal mischief. He’s held on $360,000 bail.

Police say he was arrested at a residence where he was squatting with four other people. The others were detained and released at the scene.

Police say the two-year case involves vandalisms at the Hollywood Key Bank branch and a U.S. Bank branch in southeast Portland as well as vandalism at the Portland Community College Cascade Campus.
