GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba (AP) — No pleas are being entered in the arraignment in the Sept. 11 trial at Guantanamo.

The self-proclaimed mastermind of the attacks and his four co-defendants all put off entering their pleas until a later hearing.

The men’s lawyer’s announced their decision at the end of a hearing Saturday that lasted nearly 7 hours. The men had defiantly refused to answer the judge’s questions directly during the hearing and two of the men stood up and began praying while the court was in session.
