Kaia Kanepi rallies to win title in Portugal

OEIRAS, Portugal (AP) — Kaia Kanepi of Estonia won the Estoril Open after rallying past Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain 3-6, 7-6 (6), 6-4 on Saturday.

The sixth-seeded Kanepi saved two match points on her way to winning the second-set tiebreaker. She rallied from 3-1 down on the outdoor clay court to claim her second title of the season.

Top-seeded Juan del Potro plays Stanislas Wawrinka, while second-seeded Richard Gasquet faces Albert Ramos in the men’s semifinals on Saturday.
