BOSTON (AP) — Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney spent Sunday night at the TD Garden watching the NBA playoff game between the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks.

The former Massachusetts governor attended Game 3 of the first-round playoff series. He sat near mid-court, about 12 rows back, with longtime friend Bob White, the Celtics said.

Romney was the governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007.
