La Center — 4-H students and their llamas wore purple on “Purple Up Day” April 13 to show their support for Operation: Military Kids, a national organization that now has a presence in Clark County thanks to Washington State University Extension. The organization’s goal is to connect children from military families with other active military families in their community. This summer kids can attend various camps including a Robotics & Fitness Fun Day Camp in Battle Ground.
