SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Padres have selected left-hander Alex Hinshaw from Triple-A Tucson and optioned outfielder Blake Tekotte to the same club.
They also transferred right-hander Micah Owings from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list.
Hinshaw had a 3.72 ERA in 14 relief outings for Tucson.
Tekotte, was recalled from Tucson on April 28 for his first stint with the Padres this year, going 0 for 3 with a stolen base in five games.
Owings was placed on the disabled list on April 26 with a strained right forearm. He has a 2.79 ERA in six relief appearances.
