TORONTO (AP) — Reggie Lambe and Ryan Johnson scored and Toronto FC beat the Montreal Impact 2-0 on Wednesday night to advance to the Canadian Championship final.

Toronto, 0-8-0 in MLS play this season, was reduced to 10 men in the 16th minute when English fullback Richard Eckersley got a straight red card from referee David Gantar.

The teams tied 0-0 last week in Montreal in the opener. In the two-game final, Toronto will face the Vancouver-FC Edmonton winner for a spot in CONCACAF Champions League play.

Lambe scored in the second minute, and Johnson made it 2-0 in the 38th.
