NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says four players have been suspended from the team indefinitely for violating team rules.

Stoops announced late Wednesday that defensive back Quentin Hayes and wide receivers Trey Franks, Kameel Jackson and Jaz Reynolds were suspended. He did not say why.

Hayes played in eight games as a special teams member and had tackles against Missouri, Texas and Kansas. Franks led the team in kick returns, averaging 23.9 yards a return on 22 attempts. He missed two games with a suspension.

Jackson had career-highs in receptions with three and 45 yards receiving against Iowa State in the Insight Bowl.

Reynolds had a career-high seven catches at Baylor for 114 yards, but missed the Insight Bowl because of an injury.
