FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Lee Nguyen scored twice, Saer Sene and Shalrie Joseph added goals and the New England Revolution beat the beat Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1 on Saturday night.

After Eric Hassli opened the scoring for the Whitecaps (5-3-2) in the fifth minute, Nguyen tied it in the sixth minute, Sene scored in the 24th and Joseph in the 33rd for New England (4-6-0).

Nguyen scored his second goal of the game in the 72nd minute, looping a shot from the left side atop the penalty box area following Chris Tierney’s throw-in.

New England won for the second time over the past six games, matching its goal output over that span. The Revolution also ended the Whitecaps’ winning streak at three.
