DALLAS (AP) — Allyson Felix has added a twist to the double talk.

Felix, a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the 200 meters, said Sunday morning she is open to the possibility of adding the 100 meters for the London Olympics. Felix has talked often about doing two events in London, but the focus until now has been on the 400 meters. She ran both at the world championships last fall, medaling in each.

But the 400 can leave her fatigued for the 200, her signature event. The 100 might be better suited for a double attempt, and Felix proved she can be a threat at that distance with a win Friday at the season-opening Diamond League meet in Doha, Qatar.

Felix says she’ll make a decision closer to next month’s Olympic trials.
