Aloha woman killed in crash

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — The Washington County sheriff’s office says 49-year-old Tamera Verley of Aloha was killed Sunday afternoon when the car she was driving went off a winding, gravel road and over an embankment.

She was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

Three passengers in the car, all in their 20s, were taken to Legacy Emmanuel Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries.
