LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The heads of the international boxing and cycling federations are vying for a spot on the powerful IOC executive board.

C.K. Wu of Taiwan, president of amateur boxing federation AIBA, and UCI chief Pat McQuaid of Ireland are the only two declared candidates so far to represent Olympic summer sports bodies on the board.

Denis Oswald, the president of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations, tells The Associated Press that more contenders could still come forward but it’s likely Wu and McQuaid will be the only candidates.

The vote will take place in Quebec City on May 22.
