RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) — Two women were burned when their boat caught fire after refueling Monday evening at the marina at the Richland Yacht Club.

Both jumped overboard and made it to shore.

Fire Department Battalion Chief Tom Huntington told KEPR (http://is.gd/1hXEv5 ) the burning boat drifted away from the dock, and firefighters let it burn itself out. The fire also burned fuel on the water.

The two women were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Burns were described as serious for one woman and minor for the other.
