Fire burns 20 acres on actor’s Oregon property

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A southern Oregon wildfire has burned 20 acres of property that belongs to “Evil Dead” actor Bruce Campbell.

Oregon Department of Forestry spokeswoman Ashley Dubrey told the Mail Tribune newspaper (http://is.gd/cHqFoj ) that the blaze started on a steep hillside late Wednesday and moved deep into a ravine.

No structures were threatened by the flames.

Campbell is best known as the character Ash in the “Evil Dead” horror films. He currently portrays Sam Axe on the USA Network television series “Burn Notice.”
