Craig superintendent leaves for Oregon post

KETCHIKAN, Alaska (AP) — The superintendent of the Craig School District is taking a job in Oregon.

The Ketchikan Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/J7YwtX) Jim Thomas is leaving to work as the superintendent of the Reedsport School District in Oregon.

Thomas has been with the Craig district for three years. He said while he enjoyed his time in southeast Alaska, he missed his family in Oregon.
