Firefighters knocked out a car fire Sunday evening that started after a three-car crash north of Hockinson.

The crash was reported around 8:30 p.m. at 18500 N.E. 182nd Ave.

While responding, firefighters with Clark County Fire District 3 learned one of the three cars was on fire. When they arrived, they found an engine compartment fire had spread into the passenger compartment, a district news release said.

Firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes.

The two other vehicles had minor damage from the crash.

No serious injuries were reported, the release said.
