HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — Hillsboro police say a 40-year-old woman was killed early Monday and investigators suspect her estranged husband.

Lt. Michael Rouches says three children were inside the home at the time of the homicide, but were not injured.

He says the killing is related to a death Oregon State Police are investigating off U.S. 26, east of Manning, where a man was found dead in a vehicle.

Police have yet to identify either the man or the woman or release the causes of death.

Rouches says the public is not at-risk.
