PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — The trial is beginning Tuesday in Port Orchard for a woman charged with rendering criminal assistance in the shooting death of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu (rad-ihl-EHS’-kyoo).

Kitsap County prosecutors say 19-year-old Megan G. Mollet was riding in a pickup truck with the man who killed the trooper in February and later took his own life. She faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

The Kitsap Sun reports (http://is.gd/UCg5xE) two men have pleaded guilty to rendering criminal assistance in the case and three others await trial.
