ROCKFORD, Wash. (AP) — The Spokane County sheriff’s office says vandals have badly damaged the Rockford City Park, with nearly every park structure being hit.

Deputy Craig Chamberlin said Tuesday that the vandals took spray paint from the “Ag Building” and vandalized the inside of the structure.

Park workers in the town south of Spokane say they think the damage was done Sunday night.

City employees spent Monday cleaning and repairing damage. A Rockford Public Works employee estimated the damage at thousands of dollars.
