EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have six of their 10 draft picks under contract.

The team announced Tuesday that wide receiver Jarius Wright, wide receiver Greg Childs, safety Robert Blanton, kicker Blair Walsh, linebacker Audie Cole and defensive tackle Trevor Guyton signed their rookie deals. Wright and Childs were taken in the fourth round. Blanton went in the fifth round, Walsh in the sixth and Cole and Guyton in the seventh.

First-rounders Matt Kalil and Harrison Smith, third-round pick Josh Robinson and fourth-round selection Rhett Ellison have yet to sign. Teams will have an easier time getting deals done for draft picks, though, due to a new rookie pay system that’s in place. All drafted players get four-year contracts, with first-rounders carrying a club option for a fifth season.
