TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Police are looking for three men who robbed a family home early Thursday in Tacoma.
Police say they kicked down a door just before 2 a.m. while the family was sleeping. They brought family members to the living room — two men, two women and three children.
Two of the robbers were armed with guns. They demanded money and the women’s purses as they ransacked the house, knocking over a TV.
One of the residents armed himself with a machete but the robbers took it. They drove away.
In another home invasion robbery in Tacoma on May 10, a couple were held for hours as two armed men who broke through a glass door ransacked their home, taking cash and jewelry.
