An errant squirrel caused a power outage that left more than 2,000 customers of Clark Public Utilities without power for about 30 minutes Wednesday morning.

The outage began about 10:16 a.m. in east Vancouver according to an outages map on the utility’s website.

Utility spokeswoman Erica Erland said power has been restored to all but about 100 customers. Those last customers had power restored by late morning.
