AAA: Average price of gasoline in Oregon $4.22

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gas in Oregon is $4.22 for the beginning of Memorial Day weekend.

That’s up 18 cents in the past month and 31 cents higher than a year ago. I’ts 55 cents higher than the national average.

Some metro prices from the AAA survey for Friday :

Portland $4.20, Salem $4.21, Eugene-Springfield $4.26, and Medford-Ashland $4.27.
