BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club reports drivers hitting the road for the Memorial Day weekend will find gasoline prices in Washington averaging $4.24 a gallon.
That’s 14 cents higher than a month ago and 27 cents higher than a year ago. It’s 57 cents higher than the national average.
Some metro prices from the AAA’s survey for Friday:
Bellingham $4.39, Bremerton $4.24, Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $4.29, Tacoma $4.27, Olympia $4.28, Vancouver $4.25, Yakima $4.18, Tri-Cities $4.13, and Spokane $3.97.
