PUYALLUP, Wash. (AP) — The driver of a truck suffered minor injuries when it was struck by a train Friday morning at a Puyallup crossing.

Police Lt. Scott Engle told KOMO Radio the driver apparently didn’t see the train, which struck the rear of a 30-foot flatbed truck as it crossed the Union Pacific tracks. The driver was taken to a hospital.

Engle says the crossing is marked but doesn’t have traffic arms.
