BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — A suspect in an Everett homicide was held in Bellingham after his shoplifting arrest at the Bellis Fair mall.

Police told The Bellingham Herald (http://is.gd/FIT2J0) 31-year-old Derek J. Donnelly gave a false name Wednesday but he was identified through fingerprints.

He’s one of three people suspected in the April 23 stabbing death of 23-year-old Luis Verduzco. Police say he was killed in a drug robbery and his body was left behind a vacant house.
