Mets SS Turner leaves after spraining ankle

NEW YORK (AP) — Mets shortstop Justin Turner was helped off the field after spraining his right ankle during a rundown at the end of the third inning of Monday’s game against Philadelphia.

Turner singled to right field with a runner on and two outs and tried to take second when Phillies right fielder Hunter Pence threw home.
