Ocean Shores man critically injured on skateboard

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. (AP) — A man being towed on a skateboard behind a car suffered severe head injuries when he fell Wednesday in Ocean Shores.

He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition.

Deputy Police Chief Russ Fitts told KXRO the 23-year-old Ocean Shores man was not wearing a helmet. Police are investigating the 20-year-old driver.
