Drivers should expect long delays Tuesday north of La Center on Interstate 5.
Crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the left and center lanes of southbound I-5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to repair nearly one mile of rutted and potholed pavement.
Double-lane closures on southbound I-5 between the East Fork Lewis River Bridge and the La Center exit originally planned for today were rescheduled due to weather.
Officials say drivers can expect long delays during this work, and should give themselves extra time to reach their destinations.
