PORTLAND (AP) — Police say a man on a bicycle threw a Molotov cocktail at a police cruiser about 1:30 a.m. Monday in Portland.

It was parked across the street from the North Precinct, and officers spotted the man and caught him almost immediately.

There was no one in the car. No one was injured.

Firefighters put out the fire before it caused any damage to the car.
