Meadow Homes — A little soap can make a world of difference, especially when you’re in serious need. That’s why AAA Washington recently kicked off its fifth annual Soap for Hope toiletry donation drive. Toiletries, which can be dropped off at the Vancouver AAA office, 4301 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., will benefit the YWCA Safe Choice Domestic Violence Shelter. New items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes will be accepted year-round at all AAA locations. “The charities we support greatly appreciate these toiletry donations because they are in high demand and cannot be purchased with food stamps,” said DeLora Walker, manager of Vancouver AAA.
