Savannah State easily beats Trinity Baptist 84-62

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — Savannah State raced to a 15-point lead during the first five and a half minutes and rolled to an 84-62 season-opening victory over Trinity Baptist on Friday night in the opener for both teams.

Rashad Hassan led Savannah State with 17 points, and Stephen Wilson and Patrick Hendley added 10 points apiece.
