Port expected to approve 2013 budget Tuesday

The Port of Vancouver Board of Commissioners on Tuesday is expected to approve the port’s 2013 budget. The board’s public hearing begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Commission Room of the port’s administrative office, 3103 N.W. Lower River Road.

The board will take public testimony on the proposed $64.01 million spending plan for 2013 at the hearing. A copy of the draft budget is online at http://portvanusa.com. The public hearing will be televised live on CVTV (cable channel 21) beginning at 9:30 a.m. It also will be streamed live and archived later in the day on http://cvtv.org.
