TCU routs Centenary 75-47

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Adrick McKinney led four TCU players in double figures with 16 points as the Horned Frogs defeated Centenary 75-47 Monday night.

Connell Crossland added 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Jarvis Ray scored 11 and Kyan Anderson 10. The Frogs (2-0) outrebounded the Gents 41-26 and shot 56.4 percent from the field.

Jonathan Blount scored a game-high 17 for the Gents.

TCU went on a 19-3 run midway through the first half that Centenary could never recover from. During the run, six Horned Frogs players scored and TCU held the Gents without a field goal for more than 412 minutes. The Frogs led 36-20 at the half.

McKinney’s three-point play with 12 minutes left capped seven straight points from him in a 42-second span. Five minutes later, Crossland had his own six-point run as the Frogs continued to pile it on, leading by as many as 31.
