Activities program receives grant

Esther Short — The Parks Foundation of Clark County received a $1,500 grant to support the Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Department’s “Everybody Plays!” scholarship program. The grant came from Umpqua Bank’s Community Giving program. Everybody Plays! provides low- to moderate-income families with financial assistance so their children can participate in athletic, music and art programs.
