Ridgefield — Bonnie Johnson was among 39 women chosen from hundreds of applicants nationwide to attend the October WomenHeart symposium at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. There, the women learned about the latest advances in women’s heart health from the clinic’s leading cardiologists. Johnson, who has heart disease, is a member of the Clark County support and advocacy group that meets monthly at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. She said she plans to form a similar group in north county.
