SNOHOMISH, Wash. (AP) — U.S. women’s soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo reportedly married former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens this week, hours after Stevens was released from custody following a domestic violence arrest.
KING5-TV reports (http://tinyurl.com/abmzgxx ) that Solo and Stevens were married Tuesday night near Snohomish during a small ceremony. A Kirkland Municipal Court judge released Stevens after a court appearance earlier Tuesday, saying there was no evidence connecting Stevens to any assault.
He was arrested early Monday for investigation of fourth-degree domestic violence assault but has not been charged.
Solo was in the courtroom Tuesday afternoon, but left without talking to reporters.
According to King County records, Solo and Stevens applied for a marriage license last week.
Documents say the two, who have been in a relationship for two months, were set to get married Tuesday and had argued over whether to live in Washington or Florida after the wedding.
