Spot open on parking advisory committee

Applications are being accepted to fill a vacancy on the city of Vancouver’s parking advisory committee.

The partial term will start immediately and expire in March 2016.

The seven volunteers on the committee advise the city council and staff on parking policy. Committee members need to either live or own property in the downtown area.

The committee meets at 7:30 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month at City Hall, 415 W. Sixth Street, from January through October.

In November and December, the committee meets at 7:30 a.m. the third Thursday of the month at City Hall.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 14.
