Jones-Drew misses 4th straight game for Jaguars

HOUSTON (AP) — Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew, safety Dwight Lowery and cornerback Rashean Mathis are among the inactive players for Sunday’s game in Houston.

Jones-Drew will miss his fourth straight game with a sprained left foot. Lowery (ankle) will miss his fifth straight game and Mathis (groin) will sit out for the fourth straight game.

Fullback Greg Jones, offensive lineman Steve Vallos and defensive tackles D’Anthony Smith and Jeris Pendleton are also inactive for the Jaguars.

Backup running back Ben Tate (hamstring) and nose tackle Shaun Cody (back) are among the inactive players for Houston. Cornerbacks Roc Carmichael and Brandon Harris, tackle Andrew Gardner and guards Cody White and Brandon Brooks are also inactive.

Houston activated linebacker Darryl Sharpton from the physically unable to perform list and cut safety Troy Nolan.
