NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Aaron Cosby scored 19 points and Fuquan Edwin finished with 15 as Seton Hall never trailed in its 76-49 victory over Maine on Wednesday night.

Seton Hall (4-1), meeting Maine (0-4) for the first time, improved its record against America East Conference opponents to 13-1. The Big East team hasn’t lost a game to an America East squad since 1963.

Cosby, a sophomore guard, nailed a 3-pointer to highlight an 11-1 burst in the second half that staked the Pirates to a 21-point lead, 55-34, with 10:22 left.

Seton Hall took a 31-20 lead into the break, led by Edwin’s 10 points. Consecutive 3-pointers by Edwin and Cosby, and a steal for a fast-break layup by Kyle Smyth helped Seton Hall close out the first half with an 8-2 run.

Black Bears guard Justin Edwards led all scorers in the first half with 14 points and finished with 18.
