Illinois State beats Fairleigh Dickinson 91-58

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) — Jackie Carmichael scored 17 points and Illinois State defeated Fairleigh Dickinson 91-58 Tuesday night.

Bryant Allen added 16 points for the Redbirds (4-0) in a game that was part of the South Padre Island Invitational.

Johnny Hill scored 11 points and Jon Ekey had 10 points for ISU, which led 41-33 at halftime. The Redbirds scored the first 10 points of the second half and put the game out of reach.

Melquan Bolding led the Knights (0-3) with 16 points. Lonnie Robinson had 13 points and Mustafaa Jones scored 12 for Fairleigh Dickinson.
