Santa Clara rallies past Utah Valley 75-67

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Marc Trasolini scored 27 points and Santa Clara used a 16-0 second-half run to defeat Utah Valley 75-67 Wednesday night at the Edward Jones CBE Hall of Fame Classic.

The Broncos (4-0) trailed 56-53 with 8:58 left in the game when Evan Roquemore hit a jumper to start the spurt. Trasolini had six points during the run, capping it with a basket at the 4:41 mark that put Santa Clara on top 69-56.

Trasolini was 10 for 12 from the field, 2 for 3 from 3-point range and 7 for 8 from the free-throw line while also pulling down seven rebounds.

Kevin Foster added 21 points for the Broncos and Roquemore had 14 points and six assists.

Alfonzo Hubbard led Utah Valley (3-3) with 19 points. Nick Thompson added 11 and Antoine Hosley had 10.
