Battle Ground police are continuing to investigate the fatal hit-and-run that killed a 22-year-old woman earlier this year.

Tatyana Tupikova was hit by a car while walking north on the east side of state Highway 503 just north of the Battle Ground Cinema, according to a police bulletin.

Police believe Tupikova was hit by a passing vehicle or an item extending from a vehicle, according to the bulletin.

Her body was found in a ditch on the east side of Highway 503 on May 11.

Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle or with information on the incident should call Detective Joshua Phelps at 360-342-5242 or at joshua.phelps@cityofbg.org.
