Jacksons Food Stores and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence will launch the Give the Gift of Peace campaign today to raise funds for the prevention of domestic and dating violence through community education and awareness.

On Dec. 25, the end of the campaign Jacksons Food Stores CEO John Jackson will match customers’ contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000. All of the proceeds go to the coalition against domestic violence.

Since 2003, customers have contributed to the campaign during the holidays by purchasing a paper dove for $1. Last year, Washington customers donated $29,000, which was matched by Jackson.

The convenience store chain has four Clark County locations, all of which also sell Shell gasoline.
