INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Long-shot Really Mr Greely beat Super Ninety Nine by a half-length Thursday in the $100,000 Hollywood Prevue Stakes at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Julien Leparoux, the 2-year-old colt ran seven furlongs on the Cushion Track in 1:22.84 and paid $24.60, $7.20 and $2.80 for his second victory in the three races. The $60,000 winner’s share boosted his career earnings to $85,620.
Betting favorite Super Ninety Nine returned $2.80 and $2.10, and Shakin It Up paid $2.10 to show.
The victory was a record sixth Prevue for trainer Bob Baffert, who also saddled Super Ninety Nine.
