Hilary, Coastal Carolina top Bethune-Cookman 24-14

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Aramis Hilary threw for 180 yards and a touchdown and added 50 on the ground as Coastal Carolina defeated Bethune-Cookman 24-14 Saturday in the first round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.

Hilary completed 19 of 24 passes and his 3-yard touchdown to Matt Hazel gave Coastal Carolina (8-4) a 14-0 lead with 7:16 left in the half after a scoreless first quarter.
