KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kansas City will be without left tackle Branden Albert against the NFL’s best pass rush when they play Denver on Sunday.

Albert is inactive after sustaining a back injury in last week’s loss to Cincinnati. Rookie Donald Stephenson starts in his place.

Wide receivers Steve Breaston and Devon Wylie, safety Tysyn Hartman, running back Cyrus Gray and quarterback Ricky Stanzi also are inactive for the Chiefs.

Cornerback Omar Bolden is available for Denver. Fellow cornerback Tracy Porter is inactive, along with wide receiver Andre Caldwell, tight end Julius Thomas, guard Manny Ramirez, defensive tackle Sealver Siliga and quarterback Caleb Hanie.

Denver has only six inactive players because it made no corresponding move after running back Willis McGahee went on injured reserve with a knee injury.
