• Jada Rupley, former associate superintendent for Educational Service District 112 in Vancouver, is now the early learning system director of the Oregon Education Investment Team. She is working with the state’s early learning council, appointed by Gov. John Kitzhaber. She will lead Oregon’s effort to integrate and improve state programs and investments for children ages 0 to 6.
• Tami Nesburg was named executive vice president and Southwest Washington regional manager of Regents Bank. Prior to joining Regents, Nesburg was part of the management team at Northwest National Bank in Vancouver for more than 15 years. She has been a senior vice president at Regents for the past seven years.
• Paul McGraw, owner of Vancouver-based Spacemaster Construction, will serve as the 2013 president of the Building Industry Association of Clark County. The 600-member trade association represents those involved in land development and construction in the region. Six of the 30 board members make up the association’s executive board. They are McGraw, president; Ott Gaither, Gaither & Sons Construction, vice president; Dan LeSieur, Black Rhino Construction, vice president-secretary; Matthew Clarkson, Soaring Eagle Homes, vice president-treasurer; Tony Curtis, Current Home Technologies, vice president-associate; and Ryan Zygar, Tamarack Homes, immediate past president.

• Dick Hannah Dealerships’ Autovation received Portland Advertising Federation’s 2012 Rosey Awards in the experiential category for its work on Autovation. That was a collaboration with Washington State University Vancouver’s Creative Media and Digital Culture program to create an exhibit on automobile technology now on display at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland. The experiential category focuses on businesses’ and organizations’ interactive exhibits found in museums or through information booths that engage consumers in a physical environment. The Rosey Awards showcase the best of Portland and Southwest Washington’s creative media, designs and projects.
