Boys basketball: Fort Vancouver 67, Battle Ground 62

Matthew Delisle scored 23 points to go with four assists and four steals in Fort Vancouver’s 67-62 win over visiting Battle Ground in the season opener Monday.

The game was tied at 62-62 in the last minute when Tre Eisenhut made a floater in the lane to break the deadlock and Fort pulled away by making free throws.

Jordan Howard added 16 points, Eisenhut 11 and Loris Hervey 10.

Battle Ground’s Miles Luke had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
